Bob Manuel Udokwu, Miss Tourism International bag Anambra chieftaincy titles

It was glitz, glamour and traditional splendour in Umuezeora Enugwu Aguleri, Anambra state, penultimate Saturday, November 14, 2015  at the annual Eri Festival to commemorate the time and arrival of Eri, (the progenitor of the Igbo race at Ime Obu-Gad Palace) as His Royal Highness, His Majesty Eze Chukwuemeka Eri (JP) Eze Eri, Ezeora 34th and Eze Aka Ji Ovo Igbo decorated nine new chiefs.

Among the nine new chiefs are veteran actor Bob-Manuel Udokwu and reigning Miss Tourism International, Miss Ifeoma Sharon Anya. While the veteran actor got the title of Onye Anagba Okilikili of Enugwu Aguleri, meaning, “One that people rush to behold”, the beauty queen was honoured with “Ada Eji Eje Mba 1 of Enugwu Aguleri, meaning “ A woman of substance”.
For Chief Udokwu, the title bestows on him a new responsibility. ”This is no doubt a very positive development and will energise me to do more within and outside the industry. The royal title also carries a lot of responsibilities which I will be steadfast in carrying out” he says
For the beauty queen, on her part, it is tourism and culture. “As a beauty queen and title holder, I am to project Aguleri to the world through tourism and take part in all their cultural activities and let people know the history of the Igbo race” says Chief Sharon Anya, Miss Tourism International.
